Job summary

The Town of Prescott Valley Public Works Department seeks a Senior Engineer to help shape the community’s infrastructure and capital improvement program. You will identify future needs, develop complex projects, and guide them from concept to construction.

Ideal candidates have a PE license, 8 years of progressive experience, and the ability to lead, coach, and collaborate with staff and consultants to deliver town-wide projects on time and within standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and PE required.
• 8 years of progressively responsible engineering experience, incl. 2 years supervisory.
• Ability to pass pre-employment background check including driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform high level review and analysis of Town infrastructure needs.
• Assist in developing long-range CIP projects with scope, cost and delivery methods.
• Ensure compliance with civil engineering standards and town specifications.
• Coach the assigned team and elevate staff knowledge.
