Job summary

The Town of Paradise Valley seeks a Senior Engineer to lead and manage a range of engineering and infrastructure projects from planning through construction. The successful candidate will bring strong technical and project management expertise and will coordinate with departments, consultants, contractors, and community partners to deliver high-quality public works.

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management or civil engineering, have 8 years of design/construction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, civil engineering, or related field.
• 8 years of design and construction experience, including 5 years in project management.
• Combination of education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
• Valid Class D Arizona driver's license.
• Valid Arizona PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.

The Town of Paradise Valley is excited to welcome an experienced Senior Engineer to our team!

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineering professional with strong project management experience who is ready to make a meaningful impact in a distinctive community. The Senior Engineer will help lead and manage a variety of engineering and infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction and completion in support of the Town's mission to provide outstanding public services to a community that values limited government.

To become our Senior Engineer, the Town requires:

• A bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
• 8 years of experience in design and construction, including 5 years of experience in project management.
• A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis.
• A valid class D Arizona driver’s license.
• A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in the state of Arizona or the ability to obtain the local state license within 6 months of hire.
