Job summary

Landform is seeking an experienced Professional Engineer with a strong civil land development background to guide design teams and elevate project quality. You will mentor staff, lead technical reviews, and help refine standards and procedures across multiple projects.

You will contribute to improving workflows, coordinating with planners, surveyors, and designers, and ensuring that grading, drainage, utilities, and site designs meet Landform's quality expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience in land development.
• Active PE license in Minnesota or ability to obtain within an agreed timeframe.
• Strong knowledge of grading, stormwater, drainage, utilities, site design.
• Experience reviewing engineering plans and identifying issues to improve constructability.
• Mentor and train engineers and designers; contribute to training materials and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance and engineering support to project teams through design and delivery.
• Review grading, utility, drainage, and site design plans for technical accuracy and constructability.
• Lead or support internal quality control and quality assurance reviews at key milestones.
• Develop and maintain internal engineering standards, guidelines, checklists, and templates.
• Mentor engineers and designers through technical questions and reviews; onboard new staff.
• Collaborate with project managers to identify training needs and process improvements.
