Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Lake Nona, Florida office is seeking a Civil Engineer with 4+ years of experience to join the Land Development team. This is not a remote position and will involve site development engineering, project management, and collaboration with clients and jurisdictions.

The ideal candidate will have a PE license (or ability to obtain within 12 months) and experience with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydrology modeling, and storm drainage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of engineering design experience.
• PE license or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• Experience with site civil design, permitting, and software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, hydrology modeling, and storm drainage.
• Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management.
• Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending meetings, and supervising quality standards.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and ability to build plan sets.

Responsibilities

• Perform site development engineering and project management tasks for residential and commercial projects.
• Projects will include a variety of land development site designs.
• Assist in monitoring project progress, budgets, and schedules; prepare bid packages and technical specs.
• Collaborate with clients, jurisdictions, and contractors to ensure project success.
