BKF Engineers seeks a Senior Civil Engineer with strong land development experience to lead multidisciplinary teams from concept through completion on Bay Area projects. You will guide project strategy, oversee delivery, and mentor junior staff while communicating clearly with clients and internal teams.

The ideal candidate holds a CA PE license (highly preferred), a B.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, and a minimum of 6+ years in site development, including roads,

Qualifikationen

• B.S. in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited curriculum is required.
• Minimum 6+ years of site development experience (residential/commercial subdivisions, utilities, roads).
• Mastery of AutoCAD and Civil 3D is required.
• Professional Engineer license in California is highly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Lead design efforts for site development including grading, drainage, and utilities.
• Prepare reports, master plans, specs, and cost estimates for proposals and execution.
• Oversee delivery, manage budgets/schedules, and mentor junior staff.
• Collaborate across disciplines to ensure cohesive project delivery.
• Develop final roadway design packages and incorporate streetscape elements.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and communicate with clients.
