Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, 5+ years of land development experience, and a PE license preferred (Tennessee or comity).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of land development or site civil experience.
• PE license preferred (Tennessee or comity).
• Proven ability to design grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater systems.
• Experience taking projects through permitting and approvals.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D or similar software.

Responsibilities

• Develop and review civil plans, drawings, and specifications for residential and commercial development.
• Lead site development design including grading, drainage, utilities, and stormwater management.
• Evaluate site feasibility and identify improvements and constructability solutions.
• Lead permitting, zoning coordination, and municipal approvals.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, surveyors, contractors, and agencies throughout project development.
• Review consultant plans and documents on behalf of the owner.
• Visit sites to assess conditions and design challenges.
• Manage engineering deliverables to keep project schedules on track.
