Job summary

LJB Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead a diverse land development practice in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The successful candidate will manage projects from concept through construction, mentor junior staff, and work closely with clients and public agencies. Candidates should have a NC PE, 8+ years of progressive civil experience, strong design and communication skills, and a willingness to travel to client locations across the US.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• North Carolina PE licensed or able to obtain within 6 months.
• 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design land development, public utilities, and private development projects.
• Lead studies and design through construction documents and support.
• Manage scope, schedule, and budget for tasks.
• Coordinate with clients, staff, subcontractors and managers.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Travel to US-based client locations as needed.
