Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Civil Engineer – Land Development to lead a small team and oversee land development projects from planning through completion.

The role blends technical leadership, project management, staff development, and client coordination. Ideal candidates will have a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, 5+ years of land development experience, and familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE license preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience, preferably in land development.
• Strong technical expertise in site design, utilities, drainage, grading, and related civil engineering disciplines.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D and associated design software.
• Knowledge of hydrology, hydraulics, and permitting processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of 2–6 engineering professionals.
• Coordinate project priorities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Review engineering plans, calculations, reports, and cost estimates to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Manage land development projects and supervise project teams to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, regulatory agencies, municipalities, consultants, and contractors.
• Participate in project planning, permitting, and approval processes.
• Monitor team performance, utilization, and resource allocation.
