Job summary

Dennis Group is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Building Systems team. You will design land development plans, building pads, and infrastructure for industrial food and beverage facilities, collaborating with structural engineers and architects.

The role requires strong design and calculation skills and a Professional Engineer (PE) license. Responsibilities include project documentation, CAD drawings, bid coordination, site design, drainage and hydrology work, and field site

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 8+ years of civil engineering tasks on industrial projects (foundation, land development, infrastructure).
• 8+ years in drainage, grading and utility design for industrial/commercial projects.
• 8+ years of AutoCAD, Civil 3D experience.

Responsibilities

• Apply standard techniques to perform assigned tasks as part of a broader project.
• Design complete projects and prepare documentation, including CAD drawings.
• Procurement tasks: bid lists, contractor contact, bid evaluation.
• Develop site design documents and edit project specifications.
• Prepare storm drainage reports and hydrology analyses.
• Visit project sites and coordinate with project team and sub-consultants.
