Job summary

Jobot is seeking a dynamic Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This permanent, full-time role focuses on land development, site development, grading, and roadway projects, using Civil3D to deliver precise designs.

Based in a flexible, hybrid environment, you will lead projects, guide junior engineers, and collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulators to ensure safety and quality. A PE or EIT and 5+ years' experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• PE or EIT Certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of civil engineering experience in land development, site development, and grading.
• Proficient in Civil3D and other relevant software.
• Strong knowledge of hydrology and erosion control principles.
• Experience with residential and commercial development projects.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and implementation of civil projects (grading, site development, erosion control).
• Utilize Civil3D to create detailed models and simulations.
• Conduct hydrological studies to inform design.
• Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff.
• Ensure compliance with local and national engineering standards.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulators.
• Manage project timelines and budgets.
• Perform site inspections to verify construction matches design.
• Troubleshoot issues across the project lifecycle.
