Job summary

mcfa is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our Federal Markets team in Aberdeen, MD. The role focuses on land development, water distribution, and wastewater design and construction, coordinating with client stakeholders to deliver projects.

Candidates must hold a PE license, possess a Civil Engineering degree, and bring 5+ years of relevant experience, including familiarity with Maryland environmental permitting processes. The position is in-person with relocation assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing (any state).
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.

Responsibilities

• Plan review, quality control, maintaining budgetary limits & schedules.
• Leading multi-disciplinary teams and coordinating integration of environmental issues into project execution.
• Managing and leading subcontracted design teams.
• Serve as civil engineering liaison between government entities such as the U.S. Army Garrison and Directorate of Public Works.
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned/arise with client projects.
