mcfa is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join the Federal Markets team in a land development, water distribution and wastewater design role. The engineer will coordinate, design, and manage projects with client stakeholders, including government entities, ensuring quality, schedule adherence, and budget control.

The position offers relocation assistance, in-person work, and comprehensive benefits including health coverage, retirement plan, and a profit-sharing bonus through mcfa's growth

Qualifications

• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience with emphasis on land development, water distribution and wastewater design.

Responsabilités

• Plan review, quality control, maintaining budgetary limits and schedules.
• Lead multi-disciplinary teams and integrate environment issues into project execution.
• Manage and lead subcontracted design teams.
• Serve as civil engineering liaison with government entities such as U.S. Army Garrison and Directorate of Public Works.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by clients.

How you'll get to contribute:

We are currently seeking an experiencedCivilEngineer to join our Federal Markets team. The role consists of land development, water distribution and wastewater design & construction. The role will coordinate, design and manage projects with the client stakeholders.

What you'll get to do

• Plan review, quality control, maintaining budgetary limits & schedules.
• Leading multi-disciplinary teams and operational integration of both routine & non-routine environment issues into project execution.
• Managing and leading subcontracted design teams.
• Serve as civil engineering liaison between government entities such as the U.S. Army Garrison and Directorate of Public Works.
• Other responsibilities and duties as assigned/arise with client projects.

Who you are

Required:

• Must have an active Professional Engineer (PE) license in good standing (any state)
• Must possess at minimum and bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• 5+ Years in civil engineering with emphasis on land development, water distribution and wastewater design and construction
• Experience working with permitting agencies such as the Maryland Department of the Environment
