Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required and four years of professional civil engineering experience, with at least three years in land development design/review.
• Must have or be able to obtain a State of Arizona Professional Civil Engineer license (PE).
• Valid Arizona Driver License required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform development reviews of complex developments and Capital Improvement projects coordinating across departments.
• Demonstrate technical expertise; interpret policies and approve and stamp engineering plans.
• Mentor and train staff and communicate drainage requirements, flood mitigation and infrastructure protection clearly.
