proHNS LLC, based in Sitka, Alaska, is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to work on infrastructure, site development, permitting, and construction-phase projects. You will lead projects from planning through closeout, review plans and permit documents, coordinate with clients and agencies, and mentor junior staff.

A PE license and 8+ years in civil engineering are required; Alaska licensure preferred. The role offers full-time schedule, competitive hourly pay of $50–$60 with overtime,

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or closely related field.
• 8+ years of civil engineering experience, ideally with public infrastructure, utilities, stormwater, transportation, site development, or municipal projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required; Alaska PE preferred or ability to obtain Alaska licensure.
• Strong communication, coordination, and project delivery skills.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsabilidades

• Lead civil engineering projects from planning and design through construction closeout.
• Prepare and review plans, specifications, estimates, calculations, reports, and permit documents.
• Coordinate with clients, agencies, contractors, subconsultants, and internal project teams.
• Provide construction-phase support, including RFIs, submittal reviews, site observations, and contract administration.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to practical, high-quality engineering solutions.
