Job summary

RESPEC, an internationally recognized engineering consulting company, seeks a Civil Engineer to join our Fairbanks, Anchorage, Palmer, Soldotna, and Juneau, AK offices. The Civil Engineer designs and manages projects in our Transportation Market Sector, spanning public and private clients with hands-on design and construction oversight.

This opportunity suits a dynamic, energetic professional with a Civil Engineering degree, PE or ability to obtain within 1 year, and 5–15 years of experience

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
• Alaska Professional Engineering License, or ability to obtain within 1 year.
• 5 - 15 years of experience; 5+ years of cold regions experience.
• AutoCAD & Civil 3D proficiency.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
• Ability to manage teams and contracts on multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Design and manages a variety of projects in Alaska for public and private sector clients.
• Hands-on engineering design in RESPEC's Transportation Market Sector.
• Lead multi-discipline design and construction projects across the Alaska offices.
• Grow professionally while gaining experience on a wide range of projects.
