Job summary

PND Engineers, Inc. in Anchorage, Alaska is seeking a licensed Civil Engineer to join our transportation-focused team. You will lead surface transportation and civil infrastructure projects across Alaska, from preliminary studies to final design and construction support.

The role requires PE licensure or ability to obtain Alaska registration within six months, 5+ years of experience, and strong collaboration with multidisciplinary teams; travel is occasional.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• PE license or ability to obtain Alaska registration within 6 months of hire.
• At least 5 years of relevant civil engineering experience in transportation.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and clients.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil 3D and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects for public and private surface transportation and related infrastructure improvements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams across engineering disciplines.
• Prepare and oversee delivery of plans, specs, and cost estimates.
• Support construction administration and site inspections.
• Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and client coordination.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff.
