Job summary

PND Engineers, founded in Anchorage, is seeking a Civil Design Engineer with at least four years of experience to join our Juneau, Alaska office. You will design civil engineering plans for public and private infrastructure and assist with geotechnical investigations while collaborating across disciplines.

We value mentoring junior staff, strong communication, and budgeting involvement. Relocation and housing support are available in a team-focused, multi-project environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
• Alaska P.E. license, or ability to obtain within 12 months.
• At least 4 years of relevant professional experience.
• Geotechnical coursework and experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop civil engineering plans and construction documents for public and private infrastructure.
• Support construction administration and inspection efforts.
• Assist with geotechnical investigations, analysis, and reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams across multiple disciplines.
• Contribute to project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Occasionally travel within Alaska for site visits and progress inspections.
