Job summary

Mercor is seeking senior civil engineering professionals to build evaluation tasks for AI systems operating in large-scale infrastructure and construction contexts.

The workflows span US and International tracks (ASCE, ACI, AISC, AASHTO; Eurocodes and ISO). Experts in either or both tracks are encouraged to apply.

Contributors design scenarios, draft reference outputs, and write rubrics that capture how senior civil engineering leaders think.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as civil engineer or engineering lead
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure design, permitting or delivery
• Familiarity with environmental review processes (NEPA or international equivalent) and public agency oversight
• Professional engineering credential preferred (US PE or international equivalent)

Responsibilities

• Construct civil engineering scenarios for large infrastructure design cycles.
• Coordinate multi-stakeholder permitting and regulatory reviews.
• Develop design calculations, rubrics, and reference outputs.
• Apply US and international standards (ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC, AASHTO; EN 1990-1998, ISO).
• Author narratives that capture civil engineering judgment for evaluation tasks.
