Title: Senior Civil Engineer (Rockaway, NJ)

Job Type: Full-Time, Onsite

Location: Rockaway, NJ

Description: E2PM is seeking a Senior Level Civil Engineer with broad-based expertise in Site Development Projects and Infrastructure. Under the direction of E2PM’s Chief Engineers, this candidate will prepare preliminary and final designs, specifications related to site design and land development. The ideal candidate must be a self-starter, have strong technical, analytical, and communication skills, be a team-player and be proficient in civil engineering with a focus on site development and stormwater hydrology and hydraulics. This candidate should also have a strong knowledge base of NJDEP Land-Use permits (stream encroachment, flood hazard permits, soil erosion and sediment control, waterfront development) and expertise with the NJ Storm Water Best Management Practices. This position would require project management skills, strong time management capabilities and the ability to testify before planning and zoning boards for projects when needed.

• Bachelor’s in Engineering; Master’s Degree Preferred
• NJ PE License Preferred, NY and PA PE license desirable, Engineering-in-Training (EIT) Certification considered
• 7+ Years of related experience (primarily in NJ /NY)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Civil 3-D, and/or AutoCad
• Knowledge of land use zoning and municipal land use law (preferred)
• Experience with software design software (HEC RAS; hydro CAD, Etc.)
• Must be responsible for maintaining licensure and keeping up with industry standards and software.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
