Job Summary
The STP Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, planning, execution, and commissioning of Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) projects. This includes ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, managing technical aspects, coordinating with stakeholders, and delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and manage all phases of STP project execution - from design to commissioning.
Prepare technical specifications, process flow diagrams (PFDs), and piping & instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs).
Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for new and existing projects.
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and ensure timely completion.
Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and government authorities.
Review and approve engineering designs, drawings, and documentation.
Supervise the installation, testing, and commissioning of STP systems.
Ensure adherence to safety, environmental, and quality standards.
Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
Support operation and maintenance teams post-commissioning, as needed.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering (or equivalent).
Minimum [5 - 10] years of experience in STP or wastewater treatment projects.
Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes (MBR, SBR, ASP, etc.).
Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., CPCB, MoEF guidelines).
Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project/Primavera, and other engineering tools.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
