Technical Solutions Inc. in Pittsburgh seeks a Senior Civil Engineer/Assistant Engineering Manager to lead site development and drainage projects for our client in the region.

You will provide technical guidance on site plans, hydrology, hydraulics, erosion and sediment controls, and stormwater management, using AutoCAD/Civil 3D.

Requirements include a BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering, a Professional Engineer license, and 10–15 years in civil engineering, with strong client coordination.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer license required.
• 10–15 years of civil engineering experience.
• Experience in hydrology, hydraulics, erosion controls, and stormwater management.
• Experience with land development projects and client coordination.

Responsibilities

Technical Solutions Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Civil Engineer/ Assistant Engineering Manager on behalf of our client, a Pittsburgh area engineering consultant.

• Provide technical guidance for the preparation of site plans, erosion and sediment control plans, post-construction stormwater management plans, and land development/subdivision plans
• Hydrology and hydraulic and drainage calculations
• Erosion and sediment control design
• Stormwater management calculations
• AutoCAD/Civil 3D and standard drafting techniques and applications with experience in the preparation of the following:
• Grading plans
• Profiles/cross-sections
• Pipe networks and corridors
• Working with Project Managers to coordinate with clients and prepare proposals

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related field
• Professional Engineer license
• 10 to 15 years of civil engineering experience
• Work experience in the following is required:
