Job description

Seeking a licensed Project Engineer to join a diverse and experienced group of Civil Engineers, Project Managers, and drafting technicians to complete residential and commercial land development projects, design stormwater management, and erosion & sedimentation control planning.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Land Development plans, including utility plans, site layouts, site details, and profiles
• Preparing Stormwater Management, Erosion & Sedimentation Control, and other calculations/reports for permit approval
• Aiding in the completion of the DEP (Department of Environmental Protection) NPDES (National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System) submittal process for both General and Individual Permitting
• Work with team members to produce accurate plans promptly to ensure the product meets the client’s requirements and expectations
• Perform site visits and attend public/municipal authority meetings as needed

Qualifications

• BS Civil Engineering with 1-5 years’ exp. In Land Development Design
• PE License in PA a MUST (other states too would be a plus) (Degree certified by the Board of Engineers to allow licensure in additional states)
• Proficient with MS Office, Excel, and HydroCAD software
• Experience in AutoCAD is a plus but not required
• Display superb communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a group setting
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail
• Valid PA driver’s license
• AutoCAD Civil 3D would be a big plus so they could assist in possibly doing some drafting work if needed in a pinch.
• Person will review and red line drawings of site plans; storm water management; erosion and sedimentation control; grading plans; dimensioning; etc.

Projects are usually for jobs that involve about 1 acre box shaped parcels for developments of commercial/retail establishments such as restaurants, gas stations, banks, etc
