This is also a mentoring role. The Senior Civil Engineer teaches and develops junior engineers and designers with patience and professionalism, communicates complex technical concepts clearly to audiences of varying expertise, and builds the kind of trust and emotional intelligence that keeps clients, co-owners, and project teams working well together, even under pressure.
