Job summary

Progressive is seeking an experienced civil engineer to support customer-driven projects, including data center development across Nevada. The role focuses on full-scope civil and structural design, field support, construction packages, and delivering technical expertise on large capital and ad-hoc projects.

Responsibilities span transmission line and substation design, site development, drainage, permits, and geotechnical integration. A P.E.

Qualifications

• Utility experience required.
• PLS-CADD proficiency required.
• Professional Engineer (P.E.) license required.

• Design structures, poles, and foundations; calculate pole strength.
• Provide updated facility estimates for requests from the Rates & Regulatory department.

• Support site development, including site plans, drainage, and permitting.
• Interpret and incorporate geotechnical reports into design.

The civil engineer position will focus on performing full‑scope civil and structural design tasks, support field activities, develop construction packages, and deliver technical expertise across both large capital projects and smaller ad‑hoc assignments.

Key Responsibilities:
