Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience.
  • Knowledgeable with regulatory and industry codes/standards for the oil and gas industry in the US.
  • PE Designation preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures compressor station facilities are designed in accordance with regulations, applicable industry codes and corporate standards.
  • Provide interpretations and ensure compliance to Enbridge standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with the project team to provide engineering expertise and solutions for design challenges.
  • Manages the execution of the design deliverables by a third-party engineering firm against the project budget and schedule.
  • Reviews and approves design deliverables such as drawings, technical reports, and material listing sheets.
  • Reviews vendor material quotations, prepares technical evaluations, and recommends selections based on technical merit, price, and delivery.
  • Reviews lessons learned from past projects and incorporates recommendations into future designs.
  • Support department initiatives as required.

You will also collaborate closely with internal partners across Project Execution, Transmission, and Shared Services to ensure project goals are met and seamlessly integrated into final deliverables.
