Job summary

Enbridge seeks a Project Management Specialist to lead pipeline and compressor station initiatives from concept through execution. You will ensure safety, cost, schedule and performance on projects over $100M, navigating regulatory requirements and coordinating cross-functional teams.

The role demands seven-plus years of energy project experience, strong PM skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage complex stakeholder relationships. Hybrid work is available.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical/business field.
  • 7+ years of diversified project experience in energy.
  • Strong PM experience from inception to closeout.
  • FERC process experience and permitting knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Analytical problem-solving track record.
  • Gas transmission operations experience and regulator familiarity.

As a Project Management Specialist, Pipeline and Compressor Station Projects, you will lead some of the company’s most complex and high‑impact capital projects—overseeing landmark pipeline and compressor station initiatives from concept through execution. With accountability for safety, cost, schedule, and performance on projects exceeding $100M, this role exists to turn strategic vision into reality while navigating rigorous regulatory environments and delivering lasting value to the business.

What You Will Do:
  • Integrate all functional groups into an overall project team. Be accountable for the overall success of the assigned projects.
  • Prepare and complete project execution plans (safety, quality, scope, schedule, cost and performance).
  • Development and dissemination of the project budget to all functional groups within the team. Implementing the project within this budget and ensuring the organizational change processes are implemented.
  • Coordinate a resource plan for each project and identify project risks, mitigation measures, exposures and opportunities that may impact the success of the subject projects.
  • Champion the diligent adherence to the Five Phase Project Life Cycle control process on each project.
  • Facilitates communication channels and the issuance of reports that reflect the status and health of the assigned projects to the appropriate Management groups.
  • Serve as the focal point for project and service activities performed by the Project execution and non-technical support groups for both internal and external customers.
Who You Are:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or in a technical or business-related field. Minimum of seven (7) years of diversified project experience in the energy industry. For candidates who do not possess a university degree, an additional 3-years of related experience is required (total of 10 years).
  • Strong Project Manager experience being responsible/accountable for all project functions from inception to closeout.
  • Project experience with the FERC process, as well as with Federal, State and local agency permitting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, communication and listening skills to deal effectively with all levels of employees , management and external stakeholders.
  • Proven track record to optimally solve problems by using analytical skills to reach a logical conclusion.
  • Experience with gas transmission operations and related codes and regulators.
Working Conditions:
  • Predominantly an office environment.
  • 25-50% travel across the U.S. is required during key times during project (i.e., permitting, construction).
Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, have clear, concise writing skills to complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports, effectively verbally communicate in small and large in-person groups as well as with individuals via telephone or virtual meetings.

Salary:
  • Ranges from $125,000 - $170,000 USD for U.S. locations based upon candidate’s experience, skills, and internal equity.
  • Applicable compensation policies and guidelines apply to internal candidates.
