Join us to apply for the Senior Civil Engineer role at GHD.

GHD is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to join our growing US Central team based in Houston, TX; Baton Rouge, LA; or Farmington Hills, MI. You will work with our Engineering Design Organization (EDO) on planning, design, and construction engineering of various facilities, primarily focusing on Energy projects like refining, chemicals, terminals, and underground storage. You will also support environmental, remediation, and civil aspects of municipal, state, and federal projects.

Key responsibilities include:

• Participating in project stages from proposal to construction and as-built documentation.
• Survey and site control, site grading, drainage, stormwater management, and facility roads.
• Designing large earthworks, HDPE liner systems, and supporting documentation such as technical reports, drawings, and specifications.
• Leading civil engineering aspects on multidisciplinary projects and mentoring junior engineers.

Requirements include:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Professional Engineering license in one or more states.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and HEC-RAS software.
• Strong communication skills and ability to manage scope, schedule, and budgets.
