Job summary

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in civil engineering, a Bachelor’s degree, and a PE license is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through completion.
• Oversee the design, development, and implementation of infrastructure projects, including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports and cost estimates.
• Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements and expectations are met.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Solve complex engineering problems and provide technical guidance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• 7 or more years of experience in civil engineering, with expertise in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, design of site grading, drainage systems, stormwater quality measures, utilities (both private and public), and paving.
• Proven experience with engineering design software and tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and lead project teams.
