Job summary

OnlyHire.Me is seeking a highly skilled Senior Civil Engineer in Houston, TX to lead civil engineering projects from conception through completion. You will oversee infrastructure design including roads, bridges, and drainage, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in civil engineering, a Bachelor’s degree, and a PE license is preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required.
• Master's degree is preferred.
• PE license is preferred and beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage civil engineering projects from conception through completion.
• Oversee design, development, and implementation of infrastructure projects including roads, bridges, and drainage systems.
• Conduct feasibility studies and prepare detailed reports and cost estimates.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to meet project requirements.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technical staff.
• Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Solve complex engineering problems and provide technical guidance.
