Who are we looking for?

Our Northeast Engineering Design Organization has an opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their team! This role offers the chance to participate in planning, design, and construction engineering of water, wastewater, utilities, infrastructure, and site-development projects for municipal and private clients, with a focus on linear infrastructure and growth in emerging markets.

While based in the US Northeast, you may focus on local projects or engage in major international projects, supporting design operations from Australia to Europe with global teams. GHD’s linear infrastructure expertise is recognized as #15 in Trenchless Technology in North America, with significant growth opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing water and wastewater plans, technical reports, design drawings, contract documents, cost estimates, and permits
• Leading parts of design and construction projects
• Building client relationships and securing new work
• Collaborating on multi-disciplinary projects
• Developing conference abstracts and participating in technical conferences
• Mentoring junior staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering
• Current PE license
• 7-15 years of experience in linear infrastructure projects
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently or in teams
• Modeling capabilities
• Willingness to travel as needed

Salary Range: $86,400 - $155,500, depending on experience and location
