About the Role

Who You Are

• Experienced Professional: 5–10 years in civil engineering, with a passion for land development.
• Technical Pro: Proficient in AutoCAD; Civil 3D expertise preferred. P.E. license is a plus.
• Organized & Detail-Oriented: Skilled at juggling priorities and delivering on time.
• Strong Communicator: Clear, proactive, and collaborative—ready to engage clients and teammates.
• Leader & Mentor: Energized by guiding junior engineers and learning from senior staff.

What You’ll Do

As a Civil Engineer at IFS, you’ll play a key role in planning, designing, and delivering a wide range of civil projects. You’ll work with Project Managers and senior company leaders, manage tasks and timelines, and engage with clients throughout the design process.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Planning: Lead site evaluations, schematic layouts, roadway/grading plans, utility systems, erosion control, and stormwater designs using AutoCAD & Civil 3D.
• Project Leadership: Manage budgets, schedules, documentation, and client presentations—from kick-off to completion.
• Collaboration & Communication: Drive teamwork across multi-disciplinary groups, refine designs based on stakeholder feedback, and deliver polished reports.
• Site Engagement: Conduct site visits (travel provided) to ensure designs align with real-world conditions.
