Job summary

Kimley-Horn’s Rogers, AR office seeks a Civil Design Technician with 6+ years of experience to join the Disciplineteam. You will draft and develop technical plans, apply standards, and perform complexity drawings with limited supervision. The role includes mentoring CAD staff and ensuring schedules and quality.

Strong knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley CAD tools and excellent communication are required; associates degree preferred and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
• Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley CAD products.
• Strong work ethic and communication skills; able to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards.
• Develop technical drawings and plans.
• Quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity; perform some calculations.
• Supervise and train CAD staff; coordinate work to maintain schedules.
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices, procedures, and standards.
