Job summary

Kimley-Horn's Boca-Delray, FL office is seeking a Civil Operator or Designer with 8+ years of experience to join our Development Services team. You will implement and manage drafting standards, develop technical drawings, and contribute to complex plans while mentoring CAD staff.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure schedules, quality control, and adherence to Kimley-Horn's practices and standards, in a collaborative environment that values growth and professional development.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associates preferred.
• Ability to set up and manage printing/plotting settings.
• Advanced knowledge of Autodesk or Bentley products.
• Strong work ethic and communication/writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage drafting and plan preparation standards.
• Develop technical drawings and plans.
• Quality check drawings and plans of substantial complexity; perform calculations as needed.
• Supervise and train CAD staff.
• Coordinate work activities to maintain schedules and ensure quality control.
• Develop familiarity with Kimley-Horn's practices and standards.
