IMEG is growing, and we'd love to have you join our team! We are currently seeking a Civil Project Designer / Engineer in our Pasadena, Anaheim, Ontario, CA offices, or our Las Vegas, NV office. As a Civil Project Designer / Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with detailed engineering analysis in the preparation of engineering reports, permit applications, and construction plan preparation. You will direct and train Civil Design Technicians and/or Civil Designers. You should be able to evaluate, plan, and conduct work requiring judgment in the evaluation, selection, and substantial adaptation/modification of standard techniques, procedures, and criteria. The role may involve devising new approaches to problems and performing technically challenging work within a specialty area. You may exercise project leadership on certain projects or oversee portions of large projects.
Some key duties and responsibilities include:
The Civil Project Engineer must interpret state and local design criteria and apply them to specific project needs. Regularly, work assignments are checked by peers or supervisors. You will direct and train Civil Designers to assist in completing reports, exhibits, plans, specifications, and permit applications as required by the contractual scope. Additional functions include those listed in Civil Designers' responsibilities. You should be able to consistently produce high-quality construction documents.

Salary Range: $90,000.00 - $130,000.00. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay will be based on experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
