Job summary

AI Engineers, Inc. (AIE) seeks a Sr. Civil Design Project Manager to lead transportation design teams in Middletown, CT and New York, NY.

You will oversee design, reporting, production plans, and cost estimates on state and municipal projects, mentoring staff and coordinating with subconsultants. The role requires PE licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months, 10+ years of design management, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced consulting environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• 10+ years experience in design management and delivery of state/local projects preferred.
• PE registration in CT & NY or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage design, reporting, productions, specifications, estimates for state and local clients.
• Develop design plans including drainage, storm water management, and road utilities.
• Lead large multi-discipline projects and coordinate with subconsultants.
