Kleinfelder, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a Civil Engineering Senior Project Manager to join our southeast team in the Raleigh or Charlotte area. The role focuses on multi-disciplinary land development, industrial, and utility projects, with opportunities to lead design, permitting, and construction activities for diverse clients.

Ideal candidates will have 10+ years of experience, a BS in Engineering, and PE licensure, with strong leadership, client relationship skills, and a track

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• 10+ years leading multi-disciplinary design, permitting and construction as a consultant.
• Ability to actively develop and maintain client relationships.
• Strong communication and financial management of projects.

Responsibilities

• Target and generate new opportunities.
• Manage project execution including proposals, scheduling, subcontractor management, and budget.
• Oversee pursuits, allocate resources, define client needs, and propose solutions to project challenges.
• Lead technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams and drive customer value.
• Nurture client relationships and support career development of staff.
