Job summary

Kleinfelder is seeking an experienced Engineering Project Manager to join our Mid-Atlantic design team. The role supports multi-disciplinary utility and land development projects with travel in MD/DC/DE/PA/WV; hybrid work is available.

Ideal candidates have a Civil/Environmental background, 12+ years’ experience including 5+ years PM, and strong communication skills to manage client relationships and project teams across regions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering required; Civil or Environmental degree preferred.
• 12+ years of related experience, including 5+ years of project management.
• Demonstrated project experience and knowledge of applicable laws and regulations.
• Experience with county land development regulations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of project execution, including organization, delivery, subcontractors, scheduling, and safety.
• Grow client relationships and contracts for complex multi-disciplinary projects.
• Lead, grow and mentor staff toward professional career goals.
• Oversee pursuits, allocate resources, define client needs, and manage engineering teams within budget.
• Lead technical, cost, and scheduling decisions for interdisciplinary teams.
• Collaborate on design/construction programs, driving process improvement.
