Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of civil engineering experience with focus on stormwater management.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• Proficiency in CAD software for design and planning.
• Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, especially stormwater management.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
• Strong project management and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal regulations in civil engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and oversee construction projects to meet standards and regulations.
• Develop detailed designs for civil engineering projects, including stormwater systems.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction professionals to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Apply civil engineering principles to address environmental and public health issues related to stormwater.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and impact assessments for proposed projects.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed design plans and specifications.
• Coordinate with government agencies, contractors, and the public to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor progress to ensure designs meet safety standards and specifications.
• Provide technical advice and troubleshooting for project stakeholders.
• Continuously update knowledge with industry trends and advancements.
