Bohler in Bethlehem, PA is seeking a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead site design, grading, utilities, stormwater management, and permitting across high-profile projects in the Lehigh Valley. You’ll act as a technical resource, ensuring design quality, constructability, and compliance while mentoring junior staff.

You’ll collaborate with engineers and project leaders from concept through construction, conduct zoning research and feasibility analyses, and help coordinate with clients,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering (or related discipline).
• 5+ years of experience in land development design and permitting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
• Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and construction requirements.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and design software.
• Contribute to project budgeting, workload planning, and task coordination.
