Bohler’s Nashville, TN office seeks a Senior Civil Design Engineer to lead site design efforts, refine technical approaches, and drive complex land development projects.

You’ll serve as a trusted technical resource, overseeing grading, utilities, stormwater, and permitting while ensuring quality, constructability, and compliance. Collaboration with mentors and senior leaders will shape your growth within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 5+ years of land development design and permitting experience.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related engineering software.
• Knowledge of local zoning, permitting, and construction requirements.
• PE license beneficial; EIT required or in progress.

Responsibilities

• Design and review grading, drainage, and utility plans for complex sites.
• Conduct zoning research and site feasibility analyses.
• Support project coordination with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Review design deliverables for accuracy, quality, and compliance.
• Collaborate with and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers.
• Perform hydrology, stormwater, and earthwork calculations using AutoCAD Civil 3D and related software.
• Contribute to project budgeting, workload planning, and task coordination.
