Bohler's Nashville, TN office is seeking a Civil Design Engineer (Land Development) to grow with a collaborative team and deliver site design projects from concept to completion. You’ll support site design from concept to completion and work closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to craft practical, buildable solutions.

You’ll use AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard engineering practices, contribute ideas, and assist with permitting, ensuring high-quality designs and on-time project

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
• 2+ years site design experience across residential/commercial/industrial.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D and basic design principles.
• Detail-oriented with willingness to learn new tools.

Responsibilities

• Assist in site layout, grading, utilities, and stormwater plans.
• Research, report writing, and due diligence support.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineers to deliver design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Support permitting with local and state agencies.
• Contribute ideas to solve engineering challenges.

About the Role

Bohler's Nashville, TN office is seeking a Civil Design Engineer (Land Development) who’s ready to grow, take on new challenges, and be part of a collaborative team shaping the future of land development projects across Nashville.In this role, you’ll support site design projects from concept to completion, working closely with engineers, project managers, and clients to create practical, buildable, and creative solutions.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in the preparation of site layout, grading, utility, and stormwater management plans
• Conduct research, prepare reports, and support due diligence investigations
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to deliver coordinated design packages.
• Perform design calculations and drafting using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Support permitting efforts with local and state agencies
• Contribute ideas and enthusiasm to help solve engineering challenges
