Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Civil Superintendent to oversee all civil construction activities on energy services projects, ensuring safety, on-time delivery, and budget adherence on long-term assignments in Sherman, TX.

You will plan, direct, and coordinate earthwork, concrete, foundations, and utilities; supervise crews and subcontractors; enforce safety policies; manage schedules and resources; and maintain documentation and quality control to meet project standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years as Civil Superintendent or similar supervisory role in energy services or heavy civil construction.
• Proven track record managing civil construction projects of varying sizes.
• Thorough understanding of civil construction methods, materials, and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in industrial environments.
• Ability to read/interpret blueprints, schematics, and project specs.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate civil construction activities on assigned projects.
• Supervise civil crews, subcontractors, and site personnel, ensuring safety and productivity.
• Ensure adherence to project plans, drawings, specifications, and codes.
• Enforce safety policies; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Manage schedules, resources, and equipment to meet deadlines.
• Monitor progress; identify issues and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Maintain daily reports, progress logs, and required documentation.
• Conduct quality inspections to meet established standards.
• Assist with material procurement and inventory management.
• Troubleshoot and resolve on-site construction problems.
