Job summary

Primoris Services Corporation is seeking a General Foreman Civil to oversee civil construction activities on Primoris Energy Services projects. You will ensure safety, on-time delivery, budget adherence, and high-quality results across earthwork, grading, and concrete work.

The role requires 5–7 years in civil construction with 2–3 years in supervision, plus OSHA 30 preferred and travel to multiple sites as needed. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; trade school certification in construction management or related field is a plus.
• 5-7 years of experience in civil construction, with 2-3 years in a supervisory/foreman role.
• Proven experience with heavy civil construction: earthwork, grading, concrete, underground utilities.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, safety regulations, and standards.
• Ability to read and interpret complex drawings and specifications.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate civil construction crews, including laborers, operators, and subcontractors.
• Enforce safety policies and conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications for accurate execution.
• Plan and schedule daily activities and allocate resources to meet deadlines.
• Monitor progress and identify issues; implement corrective actions.
• Ensure quality control throughout all phases of construction.
• Manage equipment, materials, and supplies for availability and proper use.
• Communicate with project managers, engineers, clients, and stakeholders.
• Provide on-the-job training and mentorship to crew members.
• Complete daily and progress reports accurately and on time.
• Participate in pre-construction meetings and contribute to planning.
