Job summary

Primoris Energy Services is seeking a Civil Superintendent to lead civil construction projects, ensuring safety, on-schedule delivery, and budget adherence. You will oversee earthwork, grading, concrete, foundations, and utilities, while coordinating with project managers and engineers on progress and issues.

You will develop schedules, supervise field teams, and enforce QA/QC standards, with a focus on safety compliance and effective communication across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of progressive experience in civil construction supervision.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to travel to project sites as required.
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Strong ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and drawings.
• Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute civil construction projects.
• Develop and implement project schedules with milestones.
• Supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Ensure safety regulations and project quality standards are followed.
• Conduct site inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Review blueprints, specifications, and project documents.
• Communicate progress with project managers, engineers, and clients.
• Manage resources to optimize efficiency and control costs.
• Participate in project meetings and provide constructability input.
• Prepare daily and progress reports.
• Mentor and train junior staff.
