Job summary

Smith & Company Inc. seeks a Civil Construction Superintendent to lead high-impact site work across South Florida.

You will direct field crews, manage earthwork, utilities, drainage, grading, and paving, and ensure safety and project milestones on major residential, commercial, industrial, and government sites. Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience in civil construction.
• Experience with earthwork, utilities, stormwater, concrete, and asphalt.
• Ability to read plans, specifications, and survey data.
• OSHA 10 or 30 certification required at hire.
• Experience with Procore or HCSS Field.
• Valid driver''s license.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily field operations for major earthwork, excavation, utility, stormwater, and paving projects.
• Supervise crews and subcontractors to maintain safety and efficiency on site.
• Interpret complex drawings, specifications, and survey data to guide field execution.
• Coordinate daily manpower, heavy equipment, and material deliveries to keep projects moving forward.
• Conduct mandatory safety meetings and enforce OSHA compliance across all areas.
• Track daily production metrics and maintain project documentation for management decisions.
• Collaborate with project managers, inspectors, and engineers to resolve field obstacles promptly.
