Job summary

The International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO) is seeking a Project Manager – Civil Construction to lead bidding, planning, coordination, and management of heavy civil projects from award through closeout.

Responsibilities include developing budgets and schedules, managing contracts and subcontracts, coordinating with owners, engineers, and field personnel, and ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery of earthwork, utilities, roadways, and site development

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of PM experience in heavy civil, site development, utility, highway, or infrastructure construction.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, equipment, and industry practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office, PM software, and CM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Bid projects and manage them to completion.
• Manage all phases of civil construction projects from pre-construction through closeout.
• Develop and maintain budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls.
• Review plans, specifications, contracts, and project requirements.
• Coordinate project activities with owners, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Lead project startup meetings and ongoing coordination meetings.
