Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Senior CADD Technician to support complex civil construction, infrastructure, and earthwork projects. The role focuses on detailed civil drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and on creating surfaces, grading plans, profiles, and earthwork models.

Responsibilities include producing plan/profile sheets, preparing drawings for grading and utilities, and performing earthwork quantity calculations. Collaboration with project managers and field teams is essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of CADD/design experience supporting civil construction, land development, infrastructure, or heavy civil projects.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Experience developing surfaces, grading models, profiles, and earthwork quantities.
• Understanding of civil/site plans, topographic information, underground utilities, drainage, and construction drawings.
• Experience supporting earthwork, grading, site development, or heavy civil construction strongly preferred.
• Ability to interpret survey data, engineering plans, specifications, and field information.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed civil construction drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Create and maintain existing and proposed surfaces, grading plans, profiles, and earthwork models.
• Prepare drawings for grading, drainage, underground utilities, pipelines, streets, and erosion-control systems.
• Perform earthwork quantity calculations and develop cut/fill models and related project exhibits.
• Produce plan/profile sheets and construction documents from survey and engineering information.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, estimators, survey teams, and field personnel to incorporate design and field changes.
