Job summary
Arena Technical Resources, LLC (ATR) in Sterling, Virginia, is seeking a Senior Citrix Systems Engineer to lead design, deployment, and optimization of a cloud-based Citrix VDI environment. You will implement CVAD in a 100% cloud setup, manage delivery controllers, PVS/MCS, and ensure secure, scalable, high-performance virtual desktops to support the government customer’s digital workplace strategy.

Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI w/ CI Poly clearance required
- DoDD 8140 security requirements (Security+ CE)
- 10+ years of relevant experience in IT/infrastructure
- 5+ years in Citrix CVAD and VDI environments
- Linux cloud environments and Windows Server/AD expertise
- Proficient with DevOps tooling and automation
- Strong documentation and communication skills
- Familiarity with MBSE and cloud-based architectures
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Citrix CVAD in a 100% Cloud environment
- Deploy Delivery Controllers, StoreFront, NetScaler/ADC
- Configure PVS or MCS for image management
- Maintain Citrix infrastructure including VDAs, hypervisors, storage
- Optimize VDI performance via monitoring and capacity planning
- Configure FSLogix user profiles and troubleshooting
- Collaborate with teams to design/cloud interfaces and docs
- Develop test plans and validate new features in Agile sprints
