Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior-level Systems Engineer to own the long-horizon systems domain roadmap, lead Tier 3 issue Resolution, and optimize a Citrix-centric environment across CVAD/DaaS, ADC, and image management. The role requires expert Windows Server and enterprise architecture skills, with strong scripting and HIPAA/HITRUST knowledge.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive systems engineering experience, including MSP or multi-site healthcare scale.
• Expert-level Citrix expertise: CVAD/DaaS design and administration, Citrix ADC (NetScaler) including Gateway and load balancing, profile management (FSLogix/Citrix Profile Management), MCS/PVS image management, and advanced session performance troubleshooting.
• Advanced scripting and automation skills; PowerShell required
• Working knowledge of HIPAA and HITRUST requirements as they apply to systems infrastructure
• Executive-facing communication skills
• Healthcare experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Own the long-horizon systems domain roadmap alongside the IT Architect.
• Lead Tier 3 resolution of complex systems issues with root-cause analysis and permanent remediation.
• Architect, engineer, and optimize the Citrix environment (CVAD/DaaS, ADC, StoreFront/Workspace, MCS/PVS).
• Manage image lifecycle, session performance, and capacity planning.
• Design and drive automation of provisioning, patching, and configuration using PowerShell and infrastructure-as-code approaches.
• Define systems hardening, backup, and disaster recovery standards (HIPAA/HITRUST).
• Represent IT in vendor discussions for systems platforms and cloud services.
• Mentor systems engineers and administrators.
• Advise IT leadership on long-term systems direction and roadmap.
• Partner with Projects on precedent-setting systems deliveries and standards evolution.
• Coordinate with Network Engineer on integrated solutions.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and travel as needed.
• Perform additional responsibilities to support mission of improving lives of people living with cancer.
