Job summary

SAIC is seeking a skilled System Administrator to support NIWC LANT CLOUD CITI division. The role covers both physical and virtual data centers and cloud environments, with emphasis on CVAD, Citrix NetScaler, Windows Server, and DISA STIG compliance.

The position requires on-site work in New Orleans, LA, and offers a top-tier security posture. Travel up to 10% is expected, and an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain Top Secret is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus nine years of demonstrated experience; four additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Strong knowledge of CVAD, NetScaler, and Windows Server technologies.
• Expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, PowerShell, and DNS management.
• Experience implementing DISA STIGs and DoD security standards.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow and Jira.
• Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams using Agile processes.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure, and deploy Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops (CVAD) systems.
• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot CVAD components on Windows Server 2012–2022.
• Manage Citrix NetScalers to ensure performance and availability.
• Enforce security compliance by applying DISA STIGs and applying patches via WSUS/Group Policy/PowerShell.
• Maintain, upgrade, and secure Windows servers per DoD/DISA standards.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues and support customer applications.
• Collaborate with virtualization and storage teams to optimize systems.
• Document configurations and processes with SharePoint.
• Review incidents, changes, and service requests using ServiceNow and Jira.
• Provide technical consulting and propose system enhancements.
• Utilize Agile methods (Kanban/Sprints).
• Develop automation scripts and tools, especially in PowerShell.
